“The Frame Center is the hub of the arts community on the South Shore. It is open and welcoming to everyone. ”

– Rosemary O’Dea

Inspired by the ever-changing beauty of her garden, Rosemary O’Dea creates intimate mixed media works that explore the textures and rhythms of nature. Her practice centers on gelli plate monoprints and collages, drawing on a lifelong love of printmaking that began in childhood with a potato stamp and textile paint. She also works in textile arts and mural painting, often blending her skills across mediums.

A self-guided artist with formal and informal training, her work has been exhibited at the Hanover Arts Festival (2019–2024) and the James Library, and has earned multiple awards including Third Prize in Mixed Media at the Hanover Arts Festival (2019, 2022, 2023).
