Karen Campbell

Painter

From Pembroke, MA

Karen is a self-taught scenic artist from Massachusetts, drawing inspiration from her New England family heritage. Her artistic lineage includes a line of self-taught artists who have nurtured her creativity. As a child, she spent much time watching and painting with both her grandfathers, adapting a lot of the techniques they used into her own work. Listening to stories of her heritage and adventures across the Northeast gave her a great respect for the beauty in the community she grew up in.

Through acrylics, she brings to life landscapes that reflect the beauty and essence of her roots. Each brushstroke tells a story of connection to her family and the land that has shaped them. Karen’s work is a tribute to the rich artistic tradition that flows through her veins, capturing the essence of New England in every painting.

“The Frame Center is a home for local artists. The care and guidance they give, each and every artist is both kind and encouraging. I am truly grateful for the opportunity I was given and the wonderful people who were part of it. Especially Dina for seeing potential in my work that I didn’t. Thank you.” – Karen Campbell
