Sue Casey

Sue Casey is an artist who lives in Scituate, MA. She has exhibited her works at the Attleboro Arts Museum, Cape Cod Art Center, Plymouth Arts Center, South Shore Arts Center, and North River Arts Society. She has received many awards for her work, including Best of Show in 2023 at North River Arts Society. Sue’s artwork is on display and can be purchased at the Driftway General Store and Joye, both in Scituate, MA. She taught art education for over 30 years, has been a board member at the Attleboro Arts Museum, and presently serves as an educator and member of the youth and adult education committees at North River Arts Society.

Sue has always been drawn to mixed media due to her ability to experiment with layering materials and textures. She is particularly drawn to geometric shapes and how they appear in an organic setting. Her goal is to simplify these shapes to create an overall cohesive composition.
